Please find below details of our Autumn 2026 clinical education zoom schedule.

Our free online (via zoom), orthopaedic/ MSK study sessions, tailored for UK based GPs, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Podiatrists and other AHPs with an MSK interest, to which you are welcome to attend as part of our ongoing 2026 education series.

Please note that the timings for all below are 7pm- 8.30pm via ZOOM


Wednesday 16th September.

Mr Faisal (Fraz) Hussain.

"Shoulders: Breaking the Myths!"

Some topics will include:

  1.  Causes of anterior shoulder pain
  2. Treatment of impingement (when to inject & when to refer)
  3. Frozen shoulders (identification & treatment)
  4. Long head of biceps issues
  5. Massive cuff tears. what are the new treatment options
  6. Shoulder replacements (anatomic and reverse) when to refer and what are the realistic outcomes in function.
  7. Instability, the acute dislocator compared to the multidirectional instability.
  8. ACJ problems, (dislocation or OA)


Tuesday 29th September.

Mr Hari Prem.

"The Rheumatoid Foot"- main topic.

Mr Prem will also discuss toe-walking in children, and ankle sprains in children.


Thursday 8th October.

Mr Samir Massoud.

"Common Shoulder Conditions for General/ Clinical Practice)".

Some topics will include:

  1. Related anatomy, Pain / stiffness examination,
  2. Frozen shoulder, Rotator Cuff and Long Head of biceps (LHB),
  3. Shoulder arthritis,
  4. Role of injections,
  5. Common shoulder conditions by age,
  6. Traumatic Shoulder instability (TUBS).


Wednesday 21st October.

"Metastatic bone disease- overview and management."
 


Wednesday 11th November.

Mr Faisal (Fraz) Hussain.

"Let’s talk about knee pain"

Some topics will include:

  1. Management plan for knee arthritis, when to refer.
  2. Knee injectables- what's new.
  3. Acute onset knee pain.
  4. What to look out for.
  5. Anterior knee pain.
  6. Clinical assessment and which require referral.
  7. Younger patients with OA.
  8. The role of osteotomy.


Thursday 19th November.

Mr Samir Massoud.

Principles for examination of the rotator cuff and long head of biceps."

Topics will include:

  1. Anatomy ,
  2. Functional anatomy,
  3. Pathology,
  4. Diagnosis and Management

Monday 23rd November.

Professor Martyn Snow     -   Talk title TBC.

 

Monday 7th December.

Mr Ronan Treacy.

"Hip pain conditions and their management".

Delegates are welcome to submit questions in advance for Mr Treacy to incorporate into his teaching session.
