Please see below details of our free forthcoming online MSK Zoom sessions for the remainder of June and also for July, to which you and your colleagues are welcome to attend as part of our summer education series. 

Our sessions are tailored and suitable for GPs, Physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals with a MSK/ Orthopaedic interest. 

Please note that all of the sessions below will start at 7pm- finishing between 8.15pm - 8.30pm and are via zoom:
 
Monday 20th June

"Knee pain: assessment and examination, to include some case studies”, with Mr Faisal (Fraz) Hussain. 

Some topics to be covered will include: 

Common knee problems and assessment, The role of injections and COVID-19/ risks, clinical case studies, examination.


Wednesday 29th June.

“The Magical Meniscus”, with Mr Marcus Green. 

Some topics will include:

What is it? Where is it? What can go wrong? What can we do? Where are we going?


Thursday 7th July

"The Stiff Shoulder- in the young, middle aged and older patient", with Professor Martyn Snow. 

Some topics will include:

Conditions by age, locked posterior and anterior dislocation, frozen shoulder/ adhesive capsulitis, Idiopathic adhesive capsulitis, natural history, osteoarthritis. 

Wednesday 13th July

"Hip pain and management” with Mr Ronan Treacy.

Some of the topics that will be covered will include:  

Changes to the THR pathway, anatomy and hip pathology, common hip conditions, referred pain, pain patterns, osteoarthritis, injections, advances in revision surgery, robotic surgery.
