Please see below details of our free forthcoming online MSK Zoom sessions for coming months to which you and your colleagues are welcome to attend as part of our January- March education series.
Our sessions are tailored and suitable for GPs, Physiotherapists, Physician Associates and other healthcare professionals with an MSK/ Orthopaedic interest.
Please note that all of the sessions below will start at 7pm- finishing between 8.15pm - 8.30pm and are via zoom:
Tuesday 17th January 2023, via zoom 7pm start:
"Knee joint preservation" with Professor Martyn Snow.
Some topics will include the latest non- surgical guidance for the treatment of Osteoarthritis, current indications and methods of cartilage repair, when joint preservation surgery is possible, methods to preserve the knee joint and current guidelines on surgical treatment of osteoarthritis.
Thursday 26th January 2023, via zoom 7pm start.
"Traumatic shoulder instability" with Mr Samir Massoud.
Some topics will include shoulder stability/instability anterior instability, posterior instability, chronic shoulder dislocations and stabilisation
Monday 6th February 2023, via zoom 7pm start.
"Hip pain and management” with Mr Ronan Treacy.
Some of topics will include: changes to the THR pathway, anatomy and hip pathology, common hip conditions, referred pain, pain patterns, osteoarthritis, injections, advances in revision surgery, robotic surgery and case studies.
Wednesday 15th March, via zoom, 7pm start
Knees the bigger picture: How to interpret and decipher an MRI report in your own practice" with Mr Marcus Green.
Some topics will include: Discuss MRI reports and how to interpret, show examples and correlate to description, discuss the various terms that may be used, talk through MRI - techniques/ images.
